Adult Bible Classes

Lighthouse Baptist is a family! The adult Bible classes are smaller families within that family. Because you are important to God, it is important to us that you find the class that is a perfect fit for you. In these adult Bible classes, you will connect with others like yourself for Bible studies, friendships, and activities. Regardless of your age or background, there is a class for you, and every class has a seat available and waiting for you!

This class meets in the auditorium and is open to anyone who would like to attend.
 

Couples

Building a strong marriage doesn’t happen by accident or default. Even a well-built house must first have carefully designed blueprints, a strong foundation, and a competent builder. Even so, a strong marriage can only be the product of the blueprint of the Bible, the foundation of Jesus Christ, and the daily guiding hand of God’s Holy Spirit. The classes and activities of our couples Sunday school classes will help to build and strengthen your marriage, and will teach the proven Bible principles for making your marriage a life-long and joyful relationship.

Learn God’s truths for your home.
We know that great marriages take work, and we want to help. Hear helpful Bible lessons about life, marriage, finances, and raising children. Come and discover God’s plan for a joyful home.

Meet new friends that are dealing with the same things you are.
You are not perfect and neither are we, but we all have the same goal in mind; to lives our lives to please Jesus. Whether you are a young couple with your first child on the way or you just sent your youngest child off to college, you will find someone here who is on that road or has been down that road already. Regular get-togethers give you the chance to have some fun with a new circle of friends and enable you to connect with other Bible believing Christians.

Grow through special events such as our Couples Retreat.
Your relationship with your spouse is the most important human relationship you have, and it deserves extra attention. Our yearly retreat in March allows you to get away from the daily grind and focus on each other.

Couples Classes:

Higher Ground Adult Bible Class - This class is geared for younger married couples in their twenties and thirties. Bryan Likins teaches this class. It meets at 10am on Sunday mornings.

Family Foundations Adult Bible Class - All married couples in their thirties and forties are welcome in the Family Foundations Adult Bible Class. The class is taught by one of our staff men, Andy Folger, and meets at 10am on Sunday mornings.

Homebuilders Adult Bible Class - The Homebuilders Class is taught by one of our deacons, Steve Ellis. This class is geared mainly toward married couples in their forties and fifties, and meets at 10am on Sunday mornings.

Seniors

Through the ministries of Lighthouse Baptist Church seniors will find meaningful friendships, enjoyable activities, and a network of care where you can continue to grow in your faith.
 

Abundant Life - Our senior adults meet each Sunday at 10am in the auditorium for the Lighthouse Bible Class. In addition to Sundays the Abundant Life group meets during the first and third Friday each month for food, fellowship, and Bible study. We welcome anyone (married or single) over the age of 55.
