Sunday School

Our children look forward to Sunday and we are certain your children will too. Our children’s ministry is full of excitement, fun and most of all great teaching from God’s Word. Each week we minister to more than one hundred children throughout our Sunday school, Jr. Church and children’s ministries.

During the 10:00 hour we offer a graded Sunday school program with most classes having between 10-15 students in them. This allows our teachers to have a greater impact on the individual students. These dedicated teachers pray for their students on a weekly basis and prepare lessons that are specifically geared for the age group they are teaching.

Toddlers

Children pick up on much more than they are given credit for. You will be amazed at the things they are able to learn in these classes developed specifically for them. They will put together crafts, sing Bible songs, memorize Scripture verses, and hear a Bible lesson that’s right on their level. They will learn things like the importance of obedience, being kind, sharing, and even more important truths, like who Jesus is, and the fact that God loves them. Our teachers are well qualified, carefully chosen, and excited for the opportunity to make a difference for your child.

The Learners Class is also available on Sunday and Wednesday evenings for ages two and a half to five. This class provides a classroom setting as opposed to a nursery for older children not yet old enough to sit through the main service.

Lighthouse Online Jr. Church- August 16, 2020

We are excited to add an online Jr. Church as we deal with the Coronavirus. Each Sunday morning at 10 we will have a 10-15 minute class on our Facebook and YouTube pages. We miss seeing our young people and we hope that several of them will be able to watch weekly. Please know that all of our teachers are praying for their students regularly!

Weekly Contest Details: 

We have two contests, a coloring page for the younger kids and an activity sheet for the older kids. Right click on the image below to save and print it. Once you have colored or filled out your activity page, ask your parent to take a picture and post it on FaceBook or Instagram with the hashtag: #LBCIndyKids. If your parents don't have FaceBook or Instagram please ask them to email it to info@lbcindy.com. Each week we will randomly draw 2 winners from each division and each will receive a $10 McDonalds Gift Card. That's four weekly winners! All entries must be received by Friday at noon. We can't wait to see your completed work!

Nurseries

Our nurseries provide a clean and safe environment to help care for your children. Volunteers who work with the children are carefully interviewed, screened, and trained. Parents can have peace of mind while they attend one of the adult Bible classes or the worship services. Nursery is provided on Sunday mornings for newborns through three years old.
